Requested Documents Checklist

To apply for a mortgage, you'll need to provide various documents to verify your identity, income, assets, and creditworthiness. Here's a general checklist of the documents you'll likely need: 

• Last 30 days pay check stubs
• Past two years W-2 statements
• Documentation of SSI awards and/or pensions (if applicable) 
• Last two months bank statements (checking, savings, 401k, etc.). Please be sure to include all pages, even if blank.
• If self-employed or own rental property, please provide recent two years personal and corporate returns - including all schedules.
• If you currently own any property or hold additional mortgages, provide current mortgage statements, homeowner's insurance dec pages and HOA statements (if applicable)
• Clear copy of valid driver's license or passport

Also, the following documentation is also generally required.

For a Purchase:

• A signed purchase contract
• Realtor contact information
• Condo Association contact information.

For a VA Loan:

• DD Form 214 (Long Form)

If you are divorced:

• A fully executed divorce decree
